I ran track and cross country in high school. In 2016 I finished off my high school career running my first marathon, the Utah Valley Marathon. Sense then I've ran a few half marathons but haven't been running consistently. This summer I'm hoping to get back into running and PR at the St George Marathon this fall.
Coach Bates put me back on distance workouts. I'm really glad. We ran six miles with 10 one minute r-paced sprints every 5 or so minutes. I felt a little out of it having not run that far for a while, but it felt really good.
