I ran track and cross country  in high school. In 2016 I finished off my high school career running my first marathon, the Utah Valley Marathon. Sense then I've ran a few half marathons but haven't been running consistently. This summer I'm hoping to get back into running and PR at the St George Marathon this fall.

Race RX. Couldn't run today because the air pollution was so bad.

We ran a mile warmup then 8 twenty second sprints. After we did  core and I ran 3 miles with Johnny and Thomas. The air was still pretty bad.

We couldn't run outside again. Our coach said it's similar to if you were running while smocking. So we did a twenty minute warmup on the treadmill then 5, 5 minute t-pace with one minute rests in between. The first 5 minutes I wasn't going really fast. The second five minutes were faster and I kept it at that pace for the third one too. The forth had increased incline and the fifth was a lot faster and I was working on form.  After I did  core. On Saturday is my first track meet. The only thing I know I'm running is the 800 relay.

My knee started hurting a lot after yesterday.  So I got it checked out today. I probably just pulled something but I might not be able to race on Saturday. 4 miles e-pace.

I have been grounded from running until Monday so my knee heals. I'm still going to watch the meet tomorrow though. Today we just did core and helped move hurtles.
